Cher Averill - President
One of the original co-founders of Attorneys Subpoena Service, Cher continues to provide quality service to this day. With three decades of experience, she is well-versed in the judicial field and has the knowledge to help clients and increase their success with any service of process.
Chris Averill - Chief Financial Officer
With over a decade of service, Chris maintains an essential role both on the administrative staff and on the roster of process servers. He is currently working on a bachelor’s degree in Business Supervision and Management.
Robin Laurenti - Administrative Assistant
One of her many qualities is to provide excellent customer relations and to complete any tasks a client requires. Robin is dedicated to assisting you with any projects you may have.

ASSI was formed with the idea of providing reliable and consistent service to our clients. Our experience with the judicial system and its operations helped guide us to create a company that starts with professionalism.
Our Story
How it all started
Our business was founded by a former Lee County Sheriff’s Deputy that served for the Civil Division. After formally retiring, he decided to co-found ASSI as a private solution for the growing need for process service.
Our Why
During that period of time in the 90s, there was a real need and demand for process servers. Combining that demand with our experience from the very beginning, ASSI was able to establish its infrastructure early on and continue to build on that structure to this day as we persistently meet the demand of services.
What Sets us apart
We are process servers formally certified by the Chief Judge of the 20th Judicial Circuit of Florida. Locally, we personally cover the counties of Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Hendry, & Glades. Additionally, our consistent communication with our clients has often been stated as a key reason as to why clients continue to use our services.
